Aromas are dominated by red cherries but include violets, orange blossom, mandarin orange & watermelon.
Slightly sweet styles have flavors of ripe semi-sweet red berries & ripe citrus.
Lambrusco is both the name of the wine & the grape it's made from but there are 60 varieties.
Easy drinking with bubbles & moderate alcohol level.
Serve cold about 20 minutes out of the frig. Pairs well with spicy Thai & Indian cuisine, Italian red-sauce dishes, barbecue & many foods from it's native Emilia-Romagna region such as Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, Prosciutto di Parma cured ham & balsamic vinegars.
